.hack Character Classes

This is a list of the Character Classes that range from The World and The World R:2, the MMORPG featured in all of the .hack series. When creating a character, players can choose from most of these different classes.

The World R:2
After the game developer's building burned down, resulting in a massive loss of data of the original game, CC Corporation remade the game with different aspects, naming it The World R:2. This new game rendered the previous six main classes incompatible and created these ten new classes, plus two other special classes (Adept Rogue and Dual Gunner) that only very certain characters use.
